Have questions about Jet Plasma? You're not alone.
What is Jet Plasma and What Are The Benefits?
Jett Plasma is an advanced technology for skin tightening, non-surgical skin lifting, and a variety of skin treatments.
Unlike conventional Plasma fibroblast, or spot Plasma which leave small brown dots on the skin, the Jet Plasma pen is a handheld plasma device that uses a cooler atmospheric temperature. This technology provides optimal anti-ageing results without creating surface trauma like traditional Plasma fibroblast or spot Plasma.
This extremely powerful device penetrates 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis, into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin. This penetration stimulates high levels of collagen production and the remodelling of the cellular structure from the inside out. When Jet Plasma is mixed with oxide oxygen, ozone is created which kills surface bacteria and is becomes anti-inflammatory. This aids in calming keratosis, psoriasis, eczema and rosacea.
Jet Plasma is used to tighten the skin, diminish wrinkles, diminish hyperpigmentation, treat acne, scarring, stretch marks. It improves prescribed product absorption that otherwise couldn’t penetrate to the deepest layers.
What are the benefits of a Jet Plasma anti-ageing treatment?
Jet plasma remodels and repairs the skin from the inside out. While other treatments claimed to be Jet Plasma (such as plasma shower, cooler jet plasma or plasma stamping) they can only minimally effect the upper layers of the epidermis while Jet Plasma penetrates deeper, to the dermal layer, where the real work happens. This is where your fibroblast cells begin generating collagen.
Jet Plasma increases the absorption rate of products applied to the skin following the treatment, allowing them to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin.
What is the aftercare for Jet Plasma Treatment?
For 12-24 hours please do not apply anything to your skin. Do not workout, sauna, swim, apply makeup, products or sunscreen. Because the channels of the skin are extremely open, not only will your skin absorb the amazing products I use, but it will absorb bacteria that could be introduced through any of the above. Following a minimum of 12 hours, you may resume your normal routine, being sure to apply sunscreen daily!
Is there any downtime with Jet Plasma?
There is no downtime following your Jet Plasma treatment. There will be no red or white dots on the areas treated. You can carry on your normal life, although, like all facial treatments, we would recommend using an SPF min 30 on the treated area, as advised during your consultation and treatment.
Is the Jet Plasma treatment painful?
There is next to no discomfort during or after your treatment. No numbing cream is needed. In fact, it is a very relaxing treatment to many.
Why is Jet Plasma different to traditional Fibroblast Plasma?
This is why Jet Plasma is different to other Fibroblast Plasma Pens.
Plasma is compromised of ionized gases. The ionized gases are charged with negative and positive charged ions, as well as negative charged electrons – this process forms the “true” Plasma when the ionizations hit the atmosphere.
When using Fibroblast Plasma Pen, at the right distance from the skin, the energy ionizes the oxygen. This then combines with the nitrogen in the air, thus creating a small electrical Plasma arc.
When the Plasma arc hits the skin, it vaporises any liquid in the skin at the point of contact. The surrounding skin then contracts in at the area of contact, then tightens. This gives a shrinking and lifting effect which is called sublimation. The layers of skin get vaporised by the “true” Plasma, but do not burn off. The skin flakes off later as part of the healing process.
However, although J Plasma is key to the Jet Plasma treatment, there are differences to the treatment and the effects.
Jet Plasma uses a cool atmospheric temperature. The technology within the device produces penetrates 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis, into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin. When Jet Plasma is mixed with oxide oxygen, ozone is created which kills surface bacteria and lifts and tightens the skin.
Does Jet Plasma help with Hair Growth?
Yes, Jet Plasma does help with restoring hair growth on men and women.
The affect of the J Plasma on the skin stimulates the hair follicles, revitilising them and getting them to grow again.
What are the Contraindications for Jet Plasma?
1 If you are Pregnant
2 If you have a Pacemake
3. If your skin is Hypersensitive
4. If you have cancer or potentially cancerous lesions in the treated areas
5. If you have an implanted Neurostimulator
How is the Jet Plasma device different to others?
The device contains a circuit board and unique advanced technology which we cannot disclose.
Other companies may also use ABS thermoplastic polymer material. This can create irritation on skin contact.
